Prizes - Exciting change to this year's format: each class will receive 'supreme' prizes so no need to ride off again for a great prize! Grand Tour Champions receive £100 worth of prizes and Reserves receive £50 worth and Small Tour and Showing Champions receive £75 worth and Reserves receive £35 worth. Online entries - new for 2010! You will be able to enter online for all Sunshine Tour championship classes, via GBEC entries system (our administative host).

NEW FOR 2010

  • Dressage to Music class - no previous qulaification will be required for this class. GBEC are also hosting a clinic on 22 August to help you prepare.
  • Horse & Hound Fun Jumping class - open to all so get your dogs in training (and whoever is going to lead them!).
  • Accumulator Show Jumping - for those keen to take up a speed challenge! Open to all.
  • Showing - this area of the Sunshine Tour continues to evolve and grow and so for 2010 some changes have been made for the showing enthusiasts.  With Lead Rein classes, Handsomestest and Prettiest equines, Ridden Showing classes and Working Hunters as well as In-Hand and Veterans there should be something for everyone!

 

CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZES

Thanks to the generosity of both our loyal and our new sponsors the prize fund is better than ever. All Champions receive an embroidered Localrider rug or jacket, sash and fabulous championship rosette. All Reserve Champions receive an embroidered Sunshine Tour saddle cloth plus fabulous championship rosette. 3rd to 10th in all classes receive a great big championship rosette!

Grand Tour Champions also win £100 worth of prizes, Reserves win £50 worth. Small Tour and Showing Chamnpions win £75 worth of prizes and Reserves win £35 worth. Prizes fund so far includes:
