Unaffiliated Championships

25 & 26 September 2010

Well done to all those who competed in the 2009 Sunshine Tour Championships. What a fantastic weekend! You can still veiw the results by clicking on the results link on the left hand side of this page.

Looking ahead to 2010 we are already receiving dates for qualifiers and you can qualify from as early as January! Check out the Qualifier Venues and Qualifier Dates links on the left for up to date information.

NEW FOR 2010

Dressage to music class - no previous qulaification will be required for this class. More information coming soon but start searching out your favouite tunes!
Horse & Hound Fun Jumping class - again no previous qualifcation will be required so get your dogs in training (and whoever is going to lead them!).
Top Score Show Jumping - for those keen to take up a challenge a Top Score class will be avaliable on Sunday. Again no previous qulaification required for this class.
Saturday will be purley for ameteur riders - so if you are a 'professionsal' i.e. earns some or all of their living from riding, training, schooling or competing horses/ponies (either your own or belonging to others) buying, selling or breaking horses, or teaching and or training riders- then Sunday is the day for you!
Change of format for Show Jumping - each class will receive 'supreme' prizes so no need to jump off again for a great prize! Full details coming soon in the Championship Schedule.
Showing - this area of the Sunshine Tour continues to evolve and grow and so for 2010 some changes have ben made for the showing enthusiasts. With clear classes for the lead reins, handsomestest and prettiest equines, ridden classes and working hunters as well as in hands and veterans there should be something for everyone!
